In summer 2022, the Plei App expanded into its 10th region, this time landing in the City of Angels: Los Angeles, California. 🎥 Another one of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is Victory Athletic Center! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Located in the city of San Juan Capistrano and bordering Dana Point and Laguna Niguel, this is the soccer field you want to play at if you like to keep your footy straight to the point. 👌
Boasting open air and dasher boards in order to keep the ball in play, you’ll be playing in some action-packed pickup soccer games at Victory Athletic Center. And as their name implies, make sure you leave with a victory to your name. 🥇
You’ll find a total of two (2) turf athletic fields at this facility, both installed with the latest synthetic turf grass technology in the market. Shining in all of its glory in all the photos is the main event: a 200’ x 85’ field best used for 7-a-side fixtures. ✨
Fun fact: this field is sized to match the exact dimensions of a standard-sized NHL rink. 🏒
In the same fashion as hockey, the ball doesn’t go out of bounds at Victory Athletic Center thanks to the boards and sports glass surrounding the field. 🥅
Other amenities we can’t forget to mention when it comes to the main turf field: covered team benches, separate penalty boxes and a protected scorekeeper's area, an electric scoreboard and a clock. ⌚
A 20-foot-tall mesh net that can split the field in half, offering some versatility. 🆒
Oh, and the pitch is also lined for men’s and women’s box lacrosse. 🥍
Spectators are by no means left out of the equation at Victory Athletic Center. Two (2) bleachers are installed on the east side of the field. 👀
All this and we haven’t even mentioned their second turf area. 😅
The second one is a performance area, so no games are happening here. Fully covered, this turf space is exclusively for dedicated weight & performance training, designed for individual and team sport-specific development. 🏋️♀️
You’ll find Victory Athletic Center nestled into the northwest corner of a block featuring a community center with multiple schools and sports parks. To get to this facility, all you have to do is turn onto Via Positiva via Camino Del Avion. Head up this road until you hit Kinoshita Elementary School and park in their designated lot. 🚗
Afterwards, walk up a small staircase that you’ll find near the northwest side of the parking lot, and make your way up to the facility a few steps to your right. 🚶
Victory Athletic Center’s goal is to provide high-quality, budget-friendly experiences for all, and they achieve this exceptionally by offering youth and adult sports programming all year long. 🏆
