Where it all began! Miami is where the Plei App calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County. 😎 Since September 2018, we have been hosting pickup games at Urban Indoor Futbol, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many more years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
For those that have never been to Miami before, just think about your preconceived notions of the city and what you already know of it based on movies and TV shows you’ve seen. Think of the aesthetic and creative, free-for-all nature of the 305 and how vibrant and colorful it can be. Now combine all that with the beautiful game, and your result should be Urban Indoor Futbol. 🌆

This 16-year-old facility is South Florida footy in a nutshell: an urban atmosphere that includes plenty of graffiti, street artwork and the visitations of countless celebrities and soccer superstars (keep reading and scrolling to see the kinds of names that have stopped by Urban since their 2007 opening). ✨
Back when they initially opened, they were known as Midtown Stadium Indoor Soccer, but since 2016 they have famously called themselves Urban Indoor Futbol. and the rest is truly history. The huge venue features a grand total of six (6) soccer fields for 5v5 and 6v6, four of them located inside and two more on the outside. 🥅
Versatility goes hand in hand at Urban. Upon entering, you’ll find that one of the four indoor fields is actually a hard-floor futsal field. Yup, you heard right. This place has options. So bring your friends along and have them watch you pull off some FIFA Street moves from the convenient bleachers and seating areas facing all six fields. 💯
The vibes inside and out are just insanely immaculate. The facility lives up to its name especially when it comes to the music that they play. Anything from trap and rap to reggaeton and electronic is what will be playing through the state-of-the-art speakers and audio systems here at Urban Indoor. 🔊
We already mentioned it, but the various different artworks and designs throughout the entire building truly complete the experience. From the uniquely designed walls to the fields and courts painted blue, you’re gonna feel completely at home in this crazy city. We aren’t lying when we say that playing at Urban will make you feel as though you’re playing a game of Volta Football on FIFA. It’s that kind of electrifying. ⚡
Food and drink options are available here, if that’s something you were worried about. Don’t worry, we know how it feels to forget to bring a bottle of water or something small to snack on. Urban has you covered in that department. 😋
If you’re worried about parking, we completely understand. It’s Miami, after all. But fear not, as there is a large and secure parking lot right beside Urban, so you won’t have trouble finding a spot once you arrive. 🚗
