Just two days after we announced our expansion into California’s capital in April 2024, we doubled down by launching in another huge West Coast market: the San Francisco Bay Area! 🌉
We kicked off our presence in this diverse region by partnering with SFF Soccer - Mission Bay Field! We then doubled down by joining forces with The Park San Jose. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

In what is a wildly far-fetched scenario, this two-field outdoor soccer facility - opened in May 2021 - has been creatively developed in the parking lot of what was previously a Chinese diner. The inside of the building, Meanwhile, has been fully remodeled into a clubhouse and social space for players and guests to enjoy. 🆕
The name already gives it away, but this venue is located in San Jose, California; Central San Jose to be exact. To be even more specific, you’ll find these pickup fields just barely nestled within the Spartan Keyes neighborhood. 📍
We already mentioned that this facility boasts two (2) different fields, but let’s go a bit more in depth. ⏬
Installed by Urban Soccer Park, these pitches are nearly equal in size, with Field 1 measuring 80 feet by 50 feet, and Field 2 measuring 80 feet by 40 feet. These dimensions make for the perfect size for 5-a-side pickup footy, which is precisely what The Park San Jose is all about. 👌
Both fields are lit and are enclosed on all four sides with boarding and fencing and netting. Being an outdoor facility, the state-of-the-art turf found here is tried and proven for those rainy soccer sessions. 🌧️
The owners of this San Jose facility had three specific goals in mind when it was time to work with Urban Soccer Park:
It’s safe to say that they have not only met but completely exceeded these goals. What’s more is that from the very first conversation that took place between owner Jodi and the completion of the facility construction, only two months passed. 😳
Talk about pure commitment. 😅
Heads up: The Park San Jose recommends using a futsal ball on their fields, but any ball is still welcome at the end of the day. 😃
