Where it all began! Miami is where the Plei App calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County. 😎 Since February 2022, we have been hosting pickup games at Super Golazo, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many more years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
This facility, now located in West Kendall since November 2013, lasted just over a decade at its previous location before the owners decided they wanted to try their luck elsewhere. They wanted to expand and upgrade their single-field situation, and it’s safe to say that’s exactly what they did.
In fact, it may be an understatement to say that they simply upgraded. Now boasting two (2) premium-quality turf fields for 5v5, 6v6 and 7v7 play, Super Golazo is certainly a place that the community can be proud to have in their backyard.
Their two artificial grass fields each measure 70 by 130 yards and feature professional lighting to provide an enjoyable experience after hours, even though it’s just as fun to play here when the sun’s still out. ☀️
The fields - as you can tell by the photos - are fenced in, and are decorated with world flags, which adds to the beautiful game experience.
At Super Golazo, there’s plenty of amenities to look forward to. First off, you’ve got a whole clubhouse equipped with showers, private changing rooms and lockers. We highly recommend planning ahead and bringing an extra change of clothes as well as toiletries because a nice cold (or warm) shower after a tough pickup match always hits different. It just won’t be the same to wait ‘til you get home to clean yourself up, so why not hit the washrooms at Super Golazo immediately after your game?
Go ahead and invite your friends and family to Super Golazo, because the facility’s ample spaces make it a perfect place to hang out and host a wide range of events. You can look forward to a wide-screen TV screen, a large canopy area, a barbecue grill, as well as a large grass space to the left of the washrooms for kids to play.
This space can also be used for birthday parties and other gatherings, so if you need a place to put inflatables and other party equipment, this is where it’ll all go.
If you bring guests to watch your pickup game, there are benches available that overlook the two fields. You and your friends and family can also chill at any of the eight large picnic tables available in this space.
Super Golazo prides itself as a facility that does more than just provide soccer fields for the community. They host leagues and tournaments throughout the year for both adults and kids, as well as a full-fledged youth academy for young ballers aged 3 and up. The facility is conveniently located half a mile Southwest of Lexus of Kendall & Tamiami Airport and features ample parking, so you can scratch that off your checklist when deciding what soccer facility to try out.
