Last month, the Plei App officially expanded into our 14th region: Detroit, Michigan 🚗 We’ve been working hard to make sure we are consistently adding more and more regions to the Plei App, and we have once again achieved exactly that! The first facility that we partnered with was Livonia Athletic District, located west of Downtown Detroit. Now, we are excited to announce a second partnership, this time with St. Joe’s Elite Sports Center! As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Boasting a total of 75,000 square feet of space, this completely indoor facility is the result of a partnership between St. Joe’s Health, Elite Sports Performance and Schoolcraft College. They opened their doors just under 2 years ago, and have been a big hit in the Livonia athletic community.
St. Joe’s contains a single, high-quality turf field for 6v6 play. The facility as a whole can also accommodate various different sports, including but not limited to volleyball, lacrosse, softball and baseball. Speaking of volleyball, there are a total of eight courts available, which can be used for other purposes as well. Combine that with a 1/7-mile track as well as complete heating and AC systems, and you have a world-class, versatile sports complex.
Upon entering St. Joe’s, you’ll be greeted by a large Welcome Center where you’ll be able to easily connect to free wifi and buy snacks & drinks at the Elite Market Café. The restrooms are also located in this space for convenience.
For athletes looking to improve their performance, St. Joe’s also offers sports performance, rehabilitation and physical therapy services from the two partners that we mentioned earlier, Elite Sports Performance and Schoolcraft. There is a full-fledged fitness laboratory located inside, making this venue the optimal location for Livonia and Metro Detroit athletes of varying sports to get the treatment they need.
St. Joe’s also proudly houses a dedicated training space for the Michigan Wolves Soccer Club, and serves as the western suburban home for the Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy. Schoolcraft College’s Movement Science Associates Degree program is also based in the facility.
Besides the plenty of court and turf space available to guests, there are also rooms available for rental purposes. These spacious rooms are multi-purpose as well, making them suitable for all kinds of private gatherings, ranging from birthday parties to corporate events.
The best part about St. Joe’s Elite Sports Center has to be the fact that, thanks to it being fully indoor, it is available year-round. Whether it’s freezing cold or it starts to warm up a bit during Detroit summer months, rest assured that St. Joe’s will be open for business!
