Way back in July 2019, the Plei App expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. 🚀 We are excited to announce a brand new partnership, this time with Revolution Soccer Complex, a brand new facility set to open next week! We just can’t wait to host our first game at this beautiful outdoor venue. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
After all, it’s in the name. Welcome to Revolution Soccer Complex, the newest outdoor venue on the block. The hype for this facility has been real ever since construction began in November of last year. 🚧
With construction officially complete and a grand opening imminent, Houston’s pickup soccer community is sure in for a treat. Featuring four (4) 5v5 fields and three (3) 7v7 fields, local ballers like you will have plenty of options to play the game the way you prefer to. 👌
Each field is equipped with the most advanced non infill turf system in the market, known as 5XP grass. An included drainage system allows for the fields to be used in virtually any weather and they won’t wear down at all. 🌧️☀️
For the convenience of spectators, benches are placed along the sides of every single field in the inside corridor area between the two sides of the facility, so guests can easily sit and watch the ongoing action as comfortably as possible. 👀
Revolutionizing pickup soccer doesn’t end there, though. Ultra HD cameras have been installed on all seven fields so that you can go back and rewatch your game replay and save your personal highlights. Now you can play comfortably knowing that your Messi/Ronaldo-esque goals can live beyond just in your memory. 🎥
That’s not all when it comes to technology. Revolution Soccer will be providing players with GPS wristbands that work to capture your best plays while also tracking personal fitness and performance numbers. Any and all stats that you record on these wristbands can be shared with friends across Instagram, Facebook and other social platforms. 📲
Revolution isn’t playing when it comes to ensuring that their facility is as up to date as possible, and they sure aren’t stopping at that. Another prominent amenity that will be available at launch is a state-of-the-art social area that will feature a fully stocked bar, loads of 4K TVs, both live and jukebox music, and delicious grub options in the form of food trucks. 🤩
At the bar, you’ll have all sorts of options to choose from. For draft beers, you’ve got Corona, Dos Equis, Bud Lite and Miller Lite. If wine is more of your thing, you can look forward to Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Rosé. And if you love yourself a good ‘ol cocktail, you can grab yourself a margarita, mojito, old fashioned or paloma. 🥂
Meanwhile, food trucks will rotate depending on the day, but expect to see tacos, quesadillas, burgers, pizzas readily available to satisfy your hunger. 😋
The indoor area features plenty of chairs and tables so that you can sit back and enjoy your choice of food and/or beverage while enjoying some tunes or watching live matches on the TVs. You can even catch a game of cornhole or golden tee if you want to try something a little different. The choice is truly yours; there’s so much you’ll be able to do at Revolution! 🎯
Outside, you’ll find benches that line the outsides of every single field, so guests can easily sit and watch the ongoing action as comfortably as possible. 👀
High quality music equipment will surely be the cherry on top at this facility. Speakers have been installed throughout all seven fields, and you’ll be able to use the TouchTunes phone application to ball out to your own music! And on the weekends, Revolution Soccer will be the place to be. Live bands and DJs of varying genres will stop by to apply that lounge/restaurant feel to a facility that is guaranteed to win over the North Houston soccer community. 🎶🎺
We’ve already covered so much, but we’re still not done. Revolution will be offering their very own leagues, and best believe nobody is going to be left out. 5v5 and 7v7 leagues will be accessible for adults and kids of all skill levels via mens, womens, co-ed and youth divisions. 🙌
Tournaments will also be a common happening at this facility. Revolution staff will personally manage all of the dirty work for schools, businesses, charities and even individuals so that all teams have to do is show up and ball out. ⚽
The kids may have it better than anyone here. Introducing the Revolution Soccer Academy, which will cater to aspiring young ballers as old as 14 and as young as just 18 months! Project Mbappe begins now. 👶😅
It probably seems obvious by now, but Revolution Soccer is going to be the real deal not just because of their high-tech pickup soccer fields and spaces, but because of their social and event-ready capabilities. Naturally, this also means corporate events and birthday parties can also be accommodated, finishing off a truly extensive list of diverse amenities at this brand new facility in North Houston. 🥳
