Where it all began! Miami is where the Plei App calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County 😎. Since October 2018, we have been hosting pickup games at Rent A Field, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
If you couldn’t already tell by these first two photos above, Rent A Field in North Miami is something of a huge soccer paradise. Not only is it stunning from a bird's-eye view, but it’s also amazing to step foot on their beautiful turf fields. Playing your game here, surrounded by 11 other fields filled with players, is a unique experience in and of itself.
Rent A Field boasts a total of twelve (12) 6v6-sized fields, which can be converted into four (4) separate 8v8/9v9 fields as well. This type of variety and versatility makes playing the beautiful game so much easier, especially if you have preferences and/or are coming with a big group of friends.
The entire facility is well-lit with professional overhead lighting, making it a great location to play at during night hours.
Spectators can conveniently watch games on bleachers located outside of the fenced area facing the outer fields. They also have a social area where you can take a break and buy drinks and snacks, and there will occasionally be food trucks on-site! Restrooms are also located in this area.
As this is a large facility that sees many players and guests stopping by 7 days a week, a parking lot with plenty of spots is available on the west side, where you would enter via NE 15th Avenue. Keep in mind that this parking area is shared with the neighboring sports park north of Rent A Field.
The famous La Liga Academy in the United States plays at many facilities across Florida, and Rent A Field is not excluded from that list. The academy offers both boys and girls competitive and non-competitive soccer programs, starting from U-6 all the way up to U-18. They also have a development program.
