Texas is our second home after Florida, so we were never going to stop at just Houston and DFW. In early April 2024, the Plei App officially expanded into a third region within the Lone Star State: the beautiful city of Austin! 🎸 We celebrated this by partnering once again with a multi-location facility that just so happened to open their first venue in Austin just a few weeks prior: Q & B Sports. 📍

Q&B Sports began its journey way back in July 2016 with the grand opening of their debut facility in the Spring Branch region of Western Houston. Seven years later, they would finally double down, this time heading up to The Woodlands and opening an exclusively indoor location there. 📍
They wasted no time getting their third facility up and running, heading west 150 miles to East Austin to kickstart a new chapter for Q&B Sports in partnership with sphere. 🩷
Officially known as the Shady Lane Pitch, this pristine fenced-in field measures 96.3 feet by 53 feet and is perfectly sized for 5v5 play, which is the common theme across all Q&B locations. This pitch provides the perfect setting for local ballers of all ages and skill levels to showcase their talents. 🔥
If you’ve played some 5-a-side before, then you know that it isn’t like any other larger-sized game of soccer. A smaller field and a smaller team make for more fast-paced, close-quarters action, ensuring that all players get as many touches as possible on the ball. ⚡
