Where it all began! Miami is where the Plei App calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County. 😎 Since September 2018, we have been hosting pickup games at Pegaso Soccer, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Pegaso Soccer is truly the go-to spot for pickup soccer near and around the Wynwood area. Boasting two fields suitable for 5v5, 6v6 and even 7v7, Pegaso is best known for their convenient rooftop location which provides astonishing views of the Miami skyline as you are scoring golazos in your pickup match.
And they are located in Wynwood for a reason. Not only are the two fields aesthetically pleasing because of the eye-catching bright red around the outsides of the fields and within the Pegaso logo in the middle, but also because of the beautiful murals plastered outside. See below for yourself.
Here’s a fun fact: the music video for Colors, the Coca-Cola Anthem for the 2018 FIFA World Cup performed by Jason Derulo, was actually shot in part at Pegaso Soccer! Talk about icon status.
Another cool fact: the Boca Junior Academy in Miami uses Pegaso’s fields for training, camps and more!
Pegaso sells snacks and drinks (beer is available!) for the convenience of their players and guests, so don’t worry if you forget to stock up prior to arriving for your pickup game; they have you covered. They also have a nice relaxation area equipped with couches and air conditioning so you can chill before or after you play.
In tune with the never-ending nature of Miami nightlife, the fields at Pegaso are open 7 days a week for Plei App games and field reservations. Speaking of field rentals, you can reserve your space on their website by choosing your preferred time slot and field. Birthday parties can also be hosted by choosing one of three different packages.
Leagues are held year-round for both men and women at Pegaso. They are announced via their socials, so be sure to follow their pages so that you don’t miss out.
