Way back in July 2019, the Plei App expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. 🚀 Since May 2021, we have been hosting pickup games at Sports 59, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
¡Bienvenidos a Paparruchos! Located near Southwest Houston in Bellaire, this multi-purpose facility boasts two indoor turf fields (air-conditioned), a rock climbing wall, private rooms for events, several lounges and a full bar!
Their fields (all rentable) are best equipped for 5v5, 6v6 and 7v7 pickup play. Don’t hesitate to bring friends and other guests, as there are large bleachers facing every field, so they can watch your MOTM performance!
Field One is 140 x 60 square feet and also has an adjacent area for small gatherings. Field Two is slightly larger, measuring 160 x 80 square feet, and is equipped with a VIP lounge area plus a viewing access of the pitch from the bar. Both fields are fully air-conditioned with LED lighting, and only indoor/turf shoes are permitted.
While playing your pickup game, you won’t have to worry about so many stops because fields are surrounded by wood and acrylic walls as well as a net, so the ball doesn’t go out of play! TVs are installed on every field as scoreboards.
If you are hungry or thirsty, look no further! Paparruchos sells snacks and drinks inside, so whenever you feel like you need to take a break, head to their concession stand! And if you’re 21 and up, feel free to stop at the bar, fully equipped with a lounge, a pool table and TVs playing live matches.
Paparruchos hosts numerous events year-round, including adult, youth and co-ed soccer leagues, youth classes, yoga and rock climbing lessons.
As we mentioned before, all of Paparruchos’ spaces are available for rent for a variety of activities. You can use their spaces for birthday parties, corporate events, and other sports such as dodgeball, lacrosse, frisbee and other training exercises. The facility can accommodate anything from 10 to 200 guests, and as many hours and days can be reserved!
For youth birthday parties, Paparucchos’ offers three different packages with varying amenities depending on the one that you pick.
