Where it all began! Miami is where the Plei App calls home. Since partnering with our first facility, we have now expanded to over 20 facilities across Miami-Dade County. 😎 Since January 2020, we have been hosting pickup games at La Redkocha, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many more years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Welcome to La Redkocha, an iconic facility in Miami-Dade County that’s best known for their eye-catching red turf fields that provide a unique way to enjoy the beautiful game. Their two (2) fields are suitable for 4v4, 5v5 and 6v6 games and are each equipped with high-quality artificial grass and scoreboards to keep track of games.
The facility is nestled in between many cities, located just north of the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport and just a couple miles away from Miami Lakes and Miami Gardens. Once you arrive, feel park in any of the open spots directly in front of the entrance, or on NW 159th Street.
Back in early 2020, La Redkocha, reached out to the Plei App after they had just opened their facility. They were looking for an efficient way to manage games and get some initial traction going. We were happy to get them on board, and we’re so happy to now have over three years under our belts working with La Redkocha! ❤️
This fully air-conditioned facility is the perfect place to play, rain or shine. Indoor facilities are always convenient, but they are even more of a blessing when it comes to Miami’s unpredictable weather.
If you bring guests along or just want to relax yourself, there are barstools and high tables facing the fields that you can sit at to catch the ongoing action.
La Redkocha offers their spaces and amenities all year long, and for all sorts of occasions! Take advantage of ample room for birthday parties, corporate events and other private gatherings, or take part in the leagues and tournaments that are hosted here throughout the year. A special event room featuring multiple TV screens, a sound system is available within the facility.
For the kids, they offer a full-fledged academy. During the summer, young ballers can take part in special camps under the guidance of top-level coaches.
If you get hungry or thirsty, you won’t have to worry! La Redkocha has their own concession stand where they offer a variety of snacks and drinks. They also sell boots in case you forget your pair or are just looking to buy some new ones.
