The Plei App wasn’t letting up in early 2024. In late February, we expanded to yet another new market to bring our state count up to 14: Boston, Massachusetts! 🦞 Beantown became our fourth new region of the year in just under two months time. The next facility we partnered with in the city is Fore Kicks Marlborough! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

What’s more is that it’s the second location of a provider of sports facilities known as Fore Kicks, and isn’t even the biggest one. 😅
That being said, welcome to Fore Kicks Indoor & Outdoor Sports Complex in Marlborough. It’s quite a long name, so we’ll go ahead and refer to it as Fore Kicks Marlboro for the remainder of this blog. ⏬
Despite the focus of this facility being the beautiful game, there happens to be spaces for plenty of other sports and activities in order to cater to as much of the local community as possible. 🫂
But since our focus in particular is also soccer, we’ll start there. 😉
Fore Kicks Marlboro boasts a huge megaplex building, which features a total of seven (7) indoor athletic fields/courts on three (3) different surfaces. These are as follows:
As you can imagine, the options are endless when it comes to deciding how you want to use these spaces. For indoor pickup games, you have the choice of playing on either boarded non-boarded fields, with each pitch designed for games as small as 6v6 and as big as 8v8. 🤩
Other sports accommodated across these seven fields/courts include lacrosse, field hockey, basketball, volleyball, golf, flag football, ultimate frisbee, baseball, softball and more. Whatever your favorite pastime is, just assume it can be done at Fore Kicks Marlboro. 🙂
Of course, all fields are also fully air-conditioned for year-round comfort. ❄️
The most recent addition to this mega sports complex is a pair of outdoor synthetic grass fields, both fully-lighted and full-sized for 11v11. To keep in tune with the versatility already found throughout Fore Kicks Marlboro, each pitch (measuring 115 by 65 yards) is also lined for two (2) 8v8 soccer fields or four (4) 6v6 soccer fields. 👌
If you do all the math on this, Fore Kicks Marlboro is capable of accommodating at least 11 different pickup games all at once. Imagine the incredible atmosphere on those busy days. 😳
The good footy vibes are guaranteed here, also thanks in part to key amenities such as free Wifi, an elevated spectator’s observation lounge as well as large screen televisions scattered throughout the facility. 📺
And you know Fore Kicks Marlboro is certified when they have private player showers & lockers and even a full-fledged cardio and strength fitness center. This gym space features top-of-the-line strength machines and cardio equipment, as well as a free weights area. 🏋️
Oh, and don’t forget to head to the Snack Shack after your pickup game or workout, Fore Kicks Marlboro’s very own concessions stand. Find your favorite fast foods here, with a menu featuring pizza, sandwiches, french fries and more. 😋
This space also has restaurant seating and banquet/function rooms for up to 300 people. 🪑
We’ve all experienced the frustration of forgetting your gear and realizing you left it behind only after you got to the field. Some of us may also have encountered the even worse scenario of equipment breaking while playing. 😥
Fore Kicks Marlboro has you covered in either scenario! Conveniently offering their very own on-site pro shop and athletic store, you’ll never have to feel this sort of heartbreak while playing here. The shop is fully stocked with everything from essential equipment, accessories and footwear for nearly every sport. 🛍️
This facility is so big that they even managed to build an 8-bay indoor golf driving range in there as well. This venue is perfect for practicing your golf swing thanks to lessons available year-round, but if you want to just swing around for fun, feel free also. 🏌️
