In October 2023, the Plei App expanded into our 16th City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 🔔 One of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is East Coast Sports Academy! We could only be talking about East Coast Sports Academy, located in Temple, Pennsylvania. 📍
Formerly known as Relevant Sports Com, this indoor & outdoor venue stands out for its versatility in its sports offerings as well as their wide variety of programming that keeps local athletes coming through their doors year-round. 🙌
On top of that, ECSA offers the largest multi-purpose indoor turf field in all of Berks County, which is your probable destination if you’re reading this blog. 😅
For pickup footy purposes, this artificial pitch - measuring 200’ x 90’ - is best suited for 7v7 games, but 6v6 or 8v8 can also be accommodated with no issue. Complete with professional lighting, air-conditioning and bleacher seating for spectators, this area is the full package for all things the beautiful game. ⚽
On the Plei App, we’ll be hosting primarily 7v7 matches. ECSA will also be running a Skillz League Pick-Up Series featuring King of the Hill games. This is a program hosted by ECSA in partnership with the Plei App. Sign-ups for these events are available on the app today. 📲
Besides soccer, the turf field at ECSA is used for a number of other sports, including American football, lacrosse and field hockey. 🏈🥍🏑
On the outdoor side of things, the facility boasts a state-of-the-art baseball field, known as the Baseballtown Dream Field. This is essentially a smaller, little-league size field that can be used for youth-level baseball/softball and even kickball. ⚾🥎
Both the turf field indoors and the Dream Field outdoors are available for bookings via their website. 🗓️
