Launched in early 2019, the unofficial Spring Break capital of the world, Broward County, FL 🏖️, made its way into the Plei App as an extension of our home Miami-Dade region. As of March 2023, we are partnered with seven soccer facilities throughout Broward, one of those being America’s Got Soccer in Ft. Lauderdale! Our first game there was played on August 17, 2019. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Established in 2014, this Oakland Park facility, located just a few miles north of Ft. Lauderdale, is a must-visit venue if you live in or are visiting the South Florida area.
Featuring three (3) fully air-conditioned fields, one (1) for 6v6 and two (2) for 5v5, America’s Got Soccer is easily one of the best pickup soccer locations that you’ll come across in all of Broward County, let alone South Florida. Keep reading and we’ll explain why.
First off, the entire facility is decorated to match the vibes of world football as we know it. The walls that stretch across the three fields have artwork highlighting historic World Cups dating back to Argentina 1978, all the way up to Brazil 2014. World flags hang all around the social areas of America’s Got Soccer to complete the diverse experience.
Having operated for nearly 10 years, you would expect this facility to offer plenty of amenities that cater to all audiences. The good news is that this is exactly what they accomplish.
For starters, this comfortable, easy-to-access facility offers free Wi-Fi and ample parking. South Florida can get hectic when it comes to traffic, but you won’t have many issues getting to and parking at America’s Got Soccer.
“What else?”, you may be asking. Well, if you love watching soccer as much as you do playing it, you have a full-service bar area to look forward to that plays the most relevant matches year-round on numerous TVs and projector screens. Watch parties for the big games are hosted here constantly, so keep up with their Instagram and Facebook accounts to stay up to date. Plenty of tables and seating are available, so bring as many friends and family members as you like.
If you’re responsibly into alcohol (and of age, of course 😅), feel free to indulge in plenty of liquor options at the sports bar. You’ve also got food available if you get hungry.
The spaces at America’s Got Soccer are perfectly suited for any sort of special event that you may have in mind. Looking to host a birthday party or other special event? The large party room and on-site food and beverage amenities have got you covered.
To top it all off, this Broward facility offers various programs like adult leagues, youth soccer camps and a full-fledged youth soccer club for all of Ft. Lauderdale young ballers.
Actually, we lied. The real cherry on top is the fact that America’s Got Soccer has public clean washrooms and showers (cleaned regularly!) available for all guests. So bring an outfit to change into after your pickup game if you don’t want to stay sweating all the way ‘til you get home.
